What to do if you have a leaking electricity meter.

Leaking Hot Substance

If there is a black tar-like substance that is hot and has an odd smell leaking from your electricity meter, turn off your electricity at the fuse box/circuit board and contact your supplier urgently.

Leaking Cold Substance

If your electricity meter is leaking a cold substance that has no smell, this is nothing to worry about, contact your supplier and they should arrange a convenient time to change the fuse.
